To open account
- For children up to age 12
- One parent, grandparent, or legal guardian must be on the account as a joint
- Must present the child’s physical social security card and the joint must present a valid government issued photo ID
Terms of the account
- Children are not allowed to withdraw funds from the account
- Joint may withdraw funds (a $5.00 fee will be assessed)
- $10 minimum balance
